Baltic Reefers has acquired NYKCool AB from NYK Reefers Ltd. 

NYKCool has its headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden and overseas representations in Chile, New Zealand, South Africa and USA. The company operates a fleet of 25 vessels trading worldwide.

NYKCool will change name to Cool Carriers AB and will continue to handle the commercial operation of the entire fleet.  Baltic Reefers will take over as from Sep 1, 2014. 

Mr. Boris Gersling, CEO of NYKCool / Cool Carriers, heading a team of dedicated specialists in Stockholm as well as its overseas representations, says: ???Cool Carriers will continue its commercial operation unchanged and operate independently from Baltic Reefers. The new ownership situation, with an owner focusing on the specialized reefer segment, gives Cool Carriers a good opportunity to further prosper in this segment.???

Mr. Boris Gersling, CEO in the company since 2009 will continue in his position as will the rest of the team.
