Dangerous Goods Guidance

NYK are committed to carrying your dangerous good safely, in a manner that minimises the risk to personnel, equipment and the environment.

Shippers have a statutory duty to ensure that all Dangerous Goods containers fully comply with the IMDG Code and relevant national regulations. NYK is obliged to reject shipments that do not comply.

We ask shippers to assist us by ensuring that they provide complete and accurate details at the time of booking, their cargo is suitably packaged, marked, labelled and documented, and that their containers are correctly placarded and adequately secured to withstand the rigours of a long journey.
