Update on NYK’s structural revenue recovery (SRR) programme.

Despite improvement in rates this summer and ongoing major cost cutting initiatives being undertaken by NYK, it is necessary for us to apply further SRR to continue providing you with the high quality liner service expected of NYK. As a result, we plan to increase our rates from 1st January 2010.
The rate increases are as follows:-
Westbound: All routes from Asia, Indian Sub-continent, Oceania to Europe, Mediterranean, & Black Sea: US$ 350 per TEU
Eastbound: All routes from Europe, Mediterranean, Black Sea to Asia, Indian Sub-continent, Middle East, Persian Gulf & Oceania: US$ 150 per TEU
