NYK Logistics North Continent now organise, via their LCL reefer department, regular sailings between South Africa and Europe.
On a weekly basis, NYK can offer sailings to South Africa, both for dry and reefer loads and for all different container types (20 and 40ft dry, 40ft high-cube reefer and 20ft reefer).
Acting as a full service provider, NYK Logistics not only offer ocean freight, but also inland haulage and all other related services via NYK offices (such as customs formalities and storage).
Within their South African facilities, NYK offers the following services, in addition to the normal non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC)/ship???s agency function: Cold-Storage monitored facilities, fumigation and a full door-to-door service.
LCL provides a global network for reefer logistics in South America (Chile, Peru and Costa Rica) as well as South Africa, Europe and the USA.
