Who is NYK?

Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha is one of the world's leading transportation companies. At the end of March 2013, the NYK Group was operating 844 major ocean vessels, as well as fleets of planes, trains, and trucks. The company's shipping fleet includes containerships, bulk carriers, wood-chip carriers,  car carriers, tankers, LNG carriers plus other types of ships. NYK's revenue in fiscal 2014 was up 7.4% from the previous year and now stands at just over 2401Billion Yen, and as a group NYK employs about 55,661 people worldwide. NYK is based inTokyo and has regional headquarters inLondon, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sydney, and Sao Paulo.
